Colander is a half-brother of bronze medal winner Montender. Colander’s father, Contender, is a living legend, with over 50 approved sons. Colander’s mother, Holsatia, is a daughter of stallion of the century, Landgraf I. In 2004, Colander took part in the German championship in Warendorf, and the world championship for young jumping horses in Lanaken. Matrilineal, Graaf also stems from Platina, internationally under Dirk Demeersman.
